The USAO Drovers (48-11) survive and advance with a 8-4 win over the defending champions, the Southeastern University Fire (53-12). The Drovers grabbed the lead early and never looked back. USAO picked up 4 runs off the Fire in the first after a couple hit by pitches and 3 base hits.

The Drovers would started lefty Jean Muntaner who would cruise through his first 6 innings, taking a no-hitter into the 7th inning. Muntaner would throw 6 innings allowing 4 runs with just 2 being earned. He would finish his day with 5 strikeouts, 4 walks and with the win move to 13-1 on the season for USAO. Rudy Gonzalez made his first World Series appearance for the Drovers and would fire 3 strong innings allowing 0 runs on 3 hits. Gonzalez captured his 5th save of the season.

The USAO offense would combine for a 12 hit outing, led by Ian Laureano who went 3-4 with 2 singles, a double and 3 RBI’s during this game. Elvin Alamo went 2-4 with 2 singles. Coleton Horner went 2-3 with 2 singles. P.J. Garcia went 2-4 with a single and a triple. Miguel Lorenzo went 1-4 with a double. Alex Sanchez went 1-4 with a single. Luis Pelayo went 1-4 with a single.
