Key Notes:
The Drovers lost the first game of the week, but would bounce back nicely with a sweep over conference foe Oklahoma Pandhandle State. The conference starters shined against this week, as they would combine for 22 strikouts and allowed just 5 earned runs over the weekend. Pitcher Jean Muntaner domianted the Aggies, as he would threw a no-hitter and finish with just 3 walks. Reliever Rudy Gonzalez threw 4 innings, allowed 0 runs on 2 hits and would finish with 3 strikouts. Gonzalez would pick up the win in that game and improve to 2-2 on the season. The Drovers offense put up 23 runs during the week and would string together 29 hits. Another mention for the offense was Luis Pelayo, as he would go 5-11 with a home run (3) and pick up a hit in every game played.
