On a night where USAO inducted Theron Jackson for his Basketball career and Niall Crick for Soccer career into the Drovers hall of fame, they also bounced bounce from a tough road loss to Central Christan College on the road. Tonight the #20 USAO Drovers (14-4, 7-3) knocked off the #8 Langston Lions (15-4, 7-4) by the final score of 89-86. The Drovers now move to a very respectable perfect 8-0 record at home and since the start of January 3-0 against ranked opponents.
The USAO Drovers were led by SO. Cameron Hines, who would pick up 30 points and would tack on 6 assists. Hines shot 10-15 from the floor and would connect on 4 of his 6 three point attempts. Any piece to this victory was the play of Geno Artison. He would finish the night with 18 points on 7-13 from the floor. Artison would end the game with 6 rebounds. Emanuel Gatkek and Dedrian Parmer would both finish the night with 12 point and 8 rebounds a piece. Hutch Peterson scores 14 points on 6-8 shooting, including 2 three-pointers.
The Lions offense was led by Latarius Lloyd, as he would finish with 17 points on 6-9 shooting and he would also dish out 4 assist to conclude the night. He would be countered by Jerami Grace. He would score 13 points and finish the night with 2 assists.

Guard Gerard Makuntae said “tonight’s game was a must win for us after that ugly loss we took on thursday. the energy played a big part in our win tonight. it all started 10am at shootaround we had the energy for the action we prepared properly and our team stayed poised and it showed throughout the whole team. when my boii jp dunked in warm ups i knew it was going to be a good night.”Guard Cameron Hines said “Tonight was a big win against a very talented team. We played really well offensively and found a way to get stops when we needed them. We have to build on this and play well on the road against a good Southwestern Christian team.”
