The USAO Drovers (12-3, 5-2) Knocked off the 21st ranked team John Brown University Golden Eagles (12-4, 6-2) 64-63. In the last week, the Drovers are now 2-0 against top 25 teams, including wins over John Brown University and Oklahoma City University.

The first half was mostly controlled by the Drovers as they would lead by 12 at one point during the half. The Golden Eagles would fight back and pull within one point going into the half. The second half was a back and forth game, as the game would feature 12 lead changes. A clutch timeout called by Coach Chris Francis and his staff set up the play that would later win the game. With 33 seconds left, the Drovers would inbound the ball and with 4 seconds left Hutch Peterson would hit a layup to give the Drovers the lead 64-62. With .2 seconds left the Golden Eagles were fouled and sent Rokas Grabliauskas to the line. He would make the first and miss the second the secure the victory for the Drovers.

The Drovers were led in this game by Cameron Hines. He would finish the night with 18 points and would dish out 3 assists along the way. Hines shot 6-14 from the floor, including 3-8 from beyond the arc. He would be countered by the hot-handed Dedrian Parmer who finished the night with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Stephon Hall put together a good night scoreing 9 points on 4-6 shooting from the floor. Hutch Peterson would finish the night with 7 points including the game winner and he would also lead the team in rebounds with 7 on the night.

The Golden Eagles were led by Jake Caudle who finished the night with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 5 three-pointers on the night. Grabliauskas was another key piece to the puzzle for John Brown as he would put up 10 points and 8 rebounds for the Golden Eagles.

With the win the Drovers are now tied for 3rd with Langston in the Sooner athletic conference standing. The Golden Eagles dropped a spot in the standing and are now sitting at 2nd behind Wayland Baptist.
