Head Coach Bobby Garza said “Today was a great win. Our team was determined to continue playing in the tournament and they competed well today. Cody Thompson stepped up for us and logged some quality innings. We look forward to playing tomorrow against USAO. They have a great team and are well coached.

Second Baseman Ted Wisdom said “CT gave us exactly what we needed. Came out of the pen, threw strikes and minimized their offense. He had a really good outing. It felt good to come out and play well and score a lot of runs quick on them in a win or go home game. Scoring 7 runs in the top of the first really helped us get the momentum on our side and with Brad throwing a scoreless first and Cody having the outing he did really helped us keep the momentum on our side throughout the game and get the win.
