Girls: Tigers Handle The Chicks

The Tuttle Tigers beat the Chickasha Chicks 74-23. The Chicks were led by Analise Eaton, who had 12 points and 6 rebounds. The Tigers were led by Faith Lafoon, who had 20 points and hit 4-pointers on the night.

First Half:

In the first quarter the Tigers got off to a very quick start winning the quarter 23-5. The Tigers were led by Lafoon, who had 11 first quater points. The Chicks got on the board, with a basket from Tina Bradford and later one from Eaton. In the second quater the momentum stayed with Tuttle and they also won this quater 18-3. In the 2nd quarter, the Tigers were led by Macy Mcadoo. She had 6 points and 5 boards at the half. In the 2nd quarter, Bradford had 1 point, to make her total at 3 at the half. At halftime, Chickasha had 13 turnovers, while Tuttle had just 6 at the half.

Second Half:

In the 3rd quarter Lafoon got right back to where she left off, putting 9 more points to put her to 20 on the night. The Tigers won the 3rd quarter as well at 15-4. The Chicks 4 points, came from Tina Bradford. In the 4th quarter, the Tigers would win the scoring 18-11. During the 4th quarter, Eaton would score 8 points and grab 2 boards. The Chicks also got 3 points from Cydney Perkins, which included a free throw and a 2-point basket. In the 4th quarter, the Tigers were led by Shelby Marple. She had 4 points in the quarter, and would finish with 9 points on the night.

Final Thoughts:

The Chicks drop to 0-3, as Tuttle will jump to 2-1 on the season. The Chicks finished with 20 turnovers and forced 10 turnovers by the Tigers. The Tigers won the rebound battle, 32-21.

Player of the game:

Analise Eaton- She had 12 points and finished with 6 rebounds.

Chickasha- The Chicks play at the Plainview tourament on Thursday, December 7.

Tuttle- The Tigers play Kingfisher on Friday, December 8.
