Amber-Pocasset knocks off Fort Cobb in first round of Regional Tournament 

The Am-Po Panthers beat the Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs with a score of 4-2 in the first round of the fall regionals.

The Panther offense collected 11 hits, led by Hayden Savage, who went 2-5 with 2 singles. Cache Anglin went 2-3 with a single and a double, Caden Bartlett went 1-3 with a single, Travis Clift went 1-3 with a single, Blake Ryans went 2-4 with 2 singles, Gehrig Tointigh went 2-4 with 2 singles, Chandler Brittain went 1-3 with a single. The Panthers got a great start from Senior Blake Ryans, who pitched 7 innings and gave up 2 runs on just 5 hits. Ryans also finished with 5 strikeouts.

The Fort Cobb offense was held to just 5 hits. They were led by Damen Mooney, who went 1-4 with a double, Brennan Phy went 1-1 with a single, Luke Lewis went 1-3 with a single, Brett Pittman went 1-4 with a single, Daylon Weaver went 1-3 with a single. The starting pitcher for Fort Cobb was Luke Lewis, who went 4 innings and gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. The relief pitcher was Brennan Phy, who pitched 3 innings and gave up 1 run on 4 hits.
