The 11th ranked Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks traveled to play the number 1 ranked Carl Albert Titans. During the 1st quarter the Chicks were hanging with the Titans when they scored a 2 point field goal from David Thibodeaux to tie the game at 12. And then Carl Albert went on a 8-2 run to finish the first quarter on top 20-14. During this run Trey Hopkins hit 2 three pointers and he would finish the 1st period with 8 points. The Titans momentum carried over into the 2nd quarter, going on a 12-0 run to start the 2nd quarter to put the score at 32-14. Toward the end of the 2nd period the Titans had another 10-4 run. During this run Taylor connected for a 3 pointer and Jaedon Pool scored 4 points. At the half Carl Albert had the lead 53-33, after winning the quarter 33-19. Chickasha’s leading scorer at the half was Magyver Boles who had 9 points, Logan Johnson who had 8 points including 2 three pointers. During the 3rd quarter the 3’s started falling for both. Within the first 3 minutes, the Chicks hit 2 three’s from Brock Henderson and Caleb Crowder. Carl Albert hit 3 three pointers, 2 from Hopkins and 1 from Harrel. Then Carl Albert, in the middle of the 3rd period went on a 12-2 run fueled by 2 three points from Taylor. The Titans would end the quarter on a 8-0 run, to make the score 82-50. Carl Albert would win the quarter’s scoring 29-17. The Chicks would open the 4th period by scoring 5 points with Logan Johnson making his 3rd three pointer. In the middle of the 4th quater the Chicks went on a 8-0 run fueled by 5 points from Magyver Boles and a 3 pointer from Caleb Crowder. The Titans would capture the home win against the Chicks, by the score of 96-74. The Chicks won the 4th quater scoring 24-14.

Player of the game:

Magyver Boles- Played another good game scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 boards, to capture another double-double.
