The Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks played the Elgin Owls for the 2nd time in one week. Earlier in the week the Owl beat the Chicks 68-48. The Owls started the game off fast, going on a 10-3 run fueled by Connor Slater who had 5 points during this run. The Chicks came right back and went on a 11-3 run, to take the lead 14-13 after the 1st period.  To open up the 2nd quarter, the Owls scored 9 straight points to take the lead 22-15 early in the 2nd period. Then Chickasha Senior Caleb Crowder would make two 3 pointer, in 30 second including a buzzer beater, to go into halftime down 30-25. The Chicks came out of the half hot, going on a 15-2 run, with Ethan Christian connecting for two 3 pointers during this run. Things got heated toward the end of the 3rd period, with a double technical being called, against Brock Henderson and Greydon Buhlig. After an 8-2 run by the Owls, Caleb Crowder hit his third 3 pointer of the game to make the score 45-40 Chicks. Going into the 4th quarter, the Chicks had the lead 46-41.  Caleb Crowder hit a 3 pointer to open the 4th period, then the Owls went on an 11-2 run to make the score 52-51 Elgin. The Chicks tried to fight back, but Senior Tanner Meraz scored 10 points in the 4th quarter to capture the 61-57 win over the Chicks.

Magyver Boles- Had another great game, scoring 17 points and grabbed 8 boards. Boles shot 6 of 13 from the field.
