Tuesday night we had a Grady County showdown in Chickasha, between the 10th ranked Tuttle Tigers and the 11th ranked Chickasha Chicks. The game started out close going back and forth until the Chicks went on a 13 -3 run that ended the first half. The Chicks never looked back after the half winning the game 56-49. That pushes the chicks to 3-0 and the Tigers fall to 2-1.

A key factor in this game was free throws, The tigers won this category Shooting 23-29 for a 79% free throw percentage. The Chicks shot 16/26 for 62% from the free throw line. Another key factor in this game was foul trouble, The Tigers had 3 players foul out, Grady Allen,Garrett Rouse and Cody Carlton while the chicks lost Caleb Ross to foul issues. This game was full with a lot of defensive stops, the Chicks forced 16 turnovers while the Tigers forced 6. The Chicks lost the rebound game to the Tigers 33-23, Cody Carlton grabbed 7 boards and Brantley Thompson added 6. Magyver Boles led the way for the Chicks grabbing 5 boards.

The Chicks got some good minutes out of Sophomore Logan Johnson who had 4 points and grabbing 4 boards, Johnson also took 3 charges.

Key performances for the Chicks: 

Brock Henderson: 28 points adding 3 rebound and 5 assists.

Magyver boles- 7 points with 5 rebounds and 2 assist.

Ethan Christan- 9 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

Logan Johnson- 4 points with 4 rebounds and 1 assist.

Key performance for the Tigers:

Cody Carlton- 18 points with 7 rebounds.

Brantley Thompson- 5 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

Garrett Rouse- 15 points with 4 rebounds and 1 assist.

Player of the game:

Brock Henderson: had 28 points, 9-17 from the field, 9/15 from the free throw line.
